HISTORY
Standard Dress Diving was the main form of diving equipment used from 1823 until the later part of the last century, finally being replaced in the Royal Navy Dockyards in 1990 by modern commercial diving equipment. It consisted of the brass helmet and lead boots which epitomised diving the world over.

ON OFFER
A once in a lifetime truly amazing diving experience from the days of old. Not only will you dive, but you will also assist with the operation of the pump, communications and dressing of the diver. You’ll learn about the equipment and more of the history, receive a certificate and the photo opportunities are tremendous, hot drinks are available.

HAVE A 1 DAY EXPERIENCE OR THE 2 DAY PADI DISTINCTIVE SPECIALTY
Become a Navy Diver for two days on our unique PADI Standard Dress Orientation Distinctive Specialty, we are the only ones offering this course outside of the USA!
The course runs over two days during which you will cover theory and your first dive on day one, then on day two you will run the entire operation under our supervision to complete your given task. After which you will be awarded your PADI Certification! Take the challenge of learning to dive in another era!

WHO CAN DO IT?
Anyone who is reasonably fit and in good health (diver and non-diver alike)

- Minimum age 15 (under 18’s require parent/guardian consent)
- Minimum height 5’3”
- Max height 6’4”
- Chunky people check first!!

LOCATION
Located in the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey on the south coast of Cornwall the harbour-side further enhances the experience.
